As a photographer and Dad of toddler twins, I kept running into the same problem over and over. How do you get one child, never mind two, to sit still and look at you while you take their photograph?

Having spent most of the lockdowns practicing the technique, I have now perfected a style of photography which moves away from forced smiles or manufactured goofiness.

I am able to produce a much calmer, more arresting image that captures the relaxed beauty of a child's face, which grabs and holds the viewer's attention. I call this the invisible photography technique.

By using modern equipment and the latest editing software, the resulting photographs can be printed out at top quality to a huge size.

The only downside is you can never just walk past these pictures once they're on your wall. Instead, you will spend hours looking at them as your precious little one (or two) stares right back.
